Bloomington Indiana Bloomington Indiana is probably the worst city I have ever visited. The people are egotistical jerks. The traffic is insane and the politicians have no interest in doing anything about it. There's more concern that a kid might skateboard on a sidewalk than that an SUV doing 60 miles an hour down a narrow one-way street might run someone down. The heavy pollution has gotten in the water supply. This is a 90's "all about me" city. Everyone claims to be a musician or an artist. But where is the music outside the University? The famous "Lotus Festival" brings in artists you wouldn't give a second listen. And for this they charge an arm and a leg. Years ago people went to Bloomington to visit a great city. The only people who visit Bloomington these days are underage kids looking for drugs or alcohol - plenty of those. The huge drug problem is ignored. Of course "IU is hot, Red Hot". Now this city has roller girls. Just what the world wants to do - watch a bunch of lesbians grab each other. This is a sick city. Bloomington Restaurant Reviews updated June 14, 2008
